Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Collab Music Studio (the "Website") and any services provided therein. By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Website.
1. Ownership of Content
By uploading any content to the Website, you affirm that you have copyright ownership or appropriate authorization to use such content. You retain full ownership of the content you upload.
2. Use of Uploaded Material
You agree not to use any uploaded material for purposes beyond the scope of collaboration on the Website, including but not limited to commercial distribution or public performance, unless explicitly permitted by the respective copyright owner.
3. Royalty Splits and Dispute Resolution
Given the complexities of collaborative music creation, royalty splits for any produced songs will be equally assigned on a per-track basis as determined by producers. Producers will examine the history (Song Tree) of the collaboration on a song to determine which users recieve writing credit and which users recieve performance credit (or both). Writing and performance credits will be tracked separately. In the event of disputes regarding credits or royalty splits, users agree to notify producers and administrators promptly to resolve the issue.
4. User Conduct
You agree to conduct yourself in a respectful and cordial manner towards other users. Harassment or abusive behavior towards other users will not be tolerated.
5. Legal Jurisdiction
For legal purposes related to the publication of completed songs, users agree that they are subject to the laws of the United States.
6. Modification of Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Website. Your continued use of the Website after any such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
7. Charter Membership
As an early adopter, you may be granted a Charter Membership, which may include special access to features, discounts, or free services ("Charter Benefits"). These Charter Benefits are offered at our discretion and may be provided free of charge for a limited period.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Website at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
